Bike Tour
Jerusalem Bike Tour- the one-day, non-stop adventure, and we’re not talking
about a few hours! The Jerusalem bike tour will take you through the city from
north to south and east to west. “The tour will show you all of the major
religious sites of Jerusalem as well as its modern neighborhoods and diverse
population.” You can choose between three tours: a 6-hour tour approximates 18
km, a 9-hour tour compares 34 km, or 12 hours approximates 52 km. Tour guides are
professional and include stories, facts, and religious opinions.
The tour starts from the Western Wall Plaza at 6:30 am. The time will begin in
the morning with a ride through some of the most notable Jewish and Christian
holy sites, including all of the central Western Wall (Wailing, separation)
gates, several shrines, and churches, including the Church of Jesus Christ of
the Separation (an Armenian Catholic church), Saint George’s Church (Taresih or
Greek Orthodox), St. James’s Church (Russian Orthodox), St.

Simeon’s or Zion Gate, the Western Wall Plaza, and from there to the Jewish
neighborhood of Rehavia. The tour will continue south through the modern
Palestinian areas like Sheikh Jarrah and Silwan and then back through East
Jerusalem to the Old City. You can also visit a Muslim quarter and Christian
and Jewish quarters. The tour ends with a bike ride to the Mount of Olives,
where you can enjoy a breathtaking view over Jerusalem. Each rider receives a
water bottle, an energy snack bar, and an information booklet containing all
attractions on tour, including maps, explanations, historical background
knowledge, and other important information
Jerusalem Bike Tour starts at 6:30 am with the custom bike ride through the streets
of Jerusalem to visit all the major religious sites in and around Jerusalem.
The tour combines modern and traditional architecture, including churches and
mosques.
Cycling in Jerusalem
Jerusalem Bike Tour is a half-day program. The tour started from the Western
Wall Plaza on a Friday at 10 am and continued to the three holiest Jewish
temples. It took 5 hours to reach the Mount of Olives, where we had a great
view of Jerusalem, including the city’s old city and the Temple Mount.
